After Mobile World Congress last February in Barcelona, CTIA Wireless 2010 in Las Vegas has proven to be a success for Almira Labs.

Our many visitors and friends have shown their interest in our VAS Vending Machine concept, which offers a myriad of innovative network-centric applications to enable service providers to offer value added services to their entire subscriber base.

We have just published a Press Release at CTIA Wireless 2010 web page to announce the launch of our brand new VAS Vending Machine.

This concept includes a series of network centric services and applications based in main mobile capabilities such as voice calls, video calls, presence and location.

These services have a unique key differentiator factor, as they are device independent, so users can now select among all different network services from operator´s own application store regardless of their technological ability or expenditure level. Thus, each customer can tailor their user experience by selecting the applications of their choice.

Our VAS Vending Machine services have been designed to leveraging existing service provider’s assets while enabling operators to capture recurring revenues and increase their capability to retain existing clients.

Almira Labs will bring new widgets to take part in next Vodafone App Star Competition which starts on March, 31st. It is a European contest to choose the best widget applications from eight different countries and where winners can receive up to 100.000 euros.

Our participation in this contest will allow us to show main players within the industry our latest applications that are within the JIL (Joint Innovation Lab) and can be used in all mobile devices and all operating systems.
