Almira Labs is in the semi-final of the Eurecan European Venture Contest 2010. Next phase will take place in the upcoming EVS European Venture Summit in Duesselfdorf, 6th and 7th December. The top 25 companies selected in this stage will finally compete for the Gran Prize in Barcelona, at the EEVC Eurecan European Venture Contest Final Jury, 16th December.

Our efforts in R&D and our continuous focus on innovation have granted us to be among the best projects for the second year in a row. This event is a Caja Navarra initiative that has given our business project the recognition of a jury made of investors and international experts.

Almira Labs will participate in the upcoming SDP Summit in London, 15th-16th September. This networking event gives us the chance to meet worldwide operators and show them our latest VAS releases.

Additionally, it is a good opportunity to know operators are addressing app stores and offer them our innovative VAS catalogue to increase their offering.

Last week Almira Labs was presenting its innovative services catalogue to a major operator in The Caribbean. Today our CMO is travelling to the Middle East to show this porfolio to one of the biggest oeprators in such area.

The services to be showcased fit the needs of the operator whole client base, so they become a valuable tool to retain current clients and to be able to attract new ones by offering them innovative solutions to their daily communications.

An improvement of up to a 48% in the school achievement of a group of students in a High School in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. This is the success of the project ‘Emotions: attention and concentration’ developed by Almira Labs and O3 Wellbeing Solutions.

Almira Labs will be attending the upcoming AMDOCS INTOUCH BUSINESS FORUM 2010 to be held in Budapest on June, 8th and 9th.This Amdocs Intouch event is a great opportunity to network with industry leaders and experts, service providers and Amdocs leaders.

Almira Labs is among the 6 companies that compete in Madrid within the regional phase of the fourth edition of the Emprendedor XXI Awards. This contest is organized by La Caixa and ENISA (Institute of National Innovation).

On Wednesday, 28th, the judging panel will decide which company will represent Madrid at the national phase of the contest which, in the past 2009 edition, had the participation of more than 300 companies. Forecasts say that such number will increase for this present edition.

Emprendedor XXI is aimed at promoting the development of new, innovative companies and to identify those with a higher growth potential.
